Months passed, The Monkeys never left our thoughts. They brought happiness, confusion and the occasional problem. They were forgiven. They became a feature of my mobile phone. Those were the days.

The 23rd of May rolled around, this was to be my last day of college. Eventually it was agreed that I would become their permenant parent. Shortly after 1pm it seemed the appropriate time to hand over The Monkeys. My band of merry men and I arrived. The Monkeys were duly presented in a modest brown envelope with the tamper proof security seal.

The writing reads:

"THE T. JENKS MONKEY BEQUEST

I hereby render unto Miss Emma Picot the monkeys, the whole monkeys and nothing but the monkeys - God bless the monkeys and all who know the monkeys for they are the monkeys and the monkeys are the world.

T.Jenks 23rd May 2003"
